About Me

I am Scarlet Flux, a streamer, writer, and artist. I have a strong interest in all forms of digital art, sculpting, painting, programming, and writing stories. I like to lean toward the old and avant-garde. The most visible art in the day-to-day has lost much of its humanity in its attempt to appeal to as many people as possible, and I aim to rectify this. My works try to be as me as possible, weird, unique, burning who I am into your brain at a glance. My art should resemble my brain being spewed across a canvas.

I create because I intensely desire to put as much of myself out there in the world as humanly possible. I desire to bring the energy of the early internet, that weird smashing together of informal pure art through design. I despise the new corporate age of design, stripping color and soul from it, and have made it my life's mission to bring back the weird and wild. Every work of art has a story and a bit of me behind it. My writing is art, and my art is a story I write.

I'm a strong lover of art that makes you think. The metanarrative, blending the lines between reader and character, makes art change what you think it was capable of. I think the medium of a story can be brought much closer and more personal than ever before. Some alternate reality games are starting to scratch the itch I desire to claw at, but none have brought that alternate reality into our reality. Mediums are meant to be broken and rebuilt, and boy am I going to build.
